Synchro Competition Teams
Skaters join one of our teams with skaters of similar abilities to compete in various U.S. Figure Skating competitions.

Skaters practice one to two times a week.

The season typically runs from August/September through February

Team(s) will compete in 3-4 competitions and perform in local exhibitions.

Our IJS teams will also compete at Eastern Sectional Championships
Aspire Level Teams 2025/26
Aspire level teams are for skaters new to Synchro or developing skills​.

5-20 skaters per team

​Skaters should have completed Basic 3 through Preliminary Skating Skills but no higher.​

Skaters are placed on teams based on ability level.

Preliminary Skaters​

8-20 skaters under 13 years old.

Must have passed Preliminary Skating Skills, Pre-Bronze preferred.
IJS Pre-Juvenile Team 2025/26
Pre-Juvenile Skaters​

8-20 skaters under 19 years old.

Gate City Synchro prefers Pre- Bronze Skating Skills passed and over all strong individual skating skills.
